Electromagnetic Eddy Current BrakesDesign Features
The rotor and the magnetic pole are made of quality magnetic material and heat-treated. There is a gap between the rotor and magnetic pole, which results in no wear during operation, The wire coil is made of coiling enamel-insulated wire with single layer polyamide glass fibre and is varnished twice under vacuum pressure. The insulation is of F or H grade. The cooling water in water cooling system is supplied by circulating water pump to ensure that the heat generated, when braking, can be carried away under the maximum load. |
